What to know before you walk through the doors.
The first day at a new school can feel like a lot — new faces, new buildings, new routines. But don’t worry, we’ve got your back. At Springfield-Clark CTC, we make sure you’re not just showing up — you’re showing up READY.
This page covers everything you need to know for your first day, from what to bring and what to wear, to where to go and who will be there to help. (Spoiler alert: there will be lots of friendly faces waiting to guide you!)

School Starts on Wednesday, August 19

First Day of School for incoming sophomores, juniors, and seniors entering a new program: Wednesday, August 19
For the purposes of Back 2 School, NEW and RETURNING NEW STUDENTS are defined as:
- NEW Students: Incoming juniors, seniors who are new to a program, and JAG Academy students.
- RETURNING Students: Students who have already completed 1 year of their program.
Student Drivers
For the first few days of school, all student drivers should use the Selma Road Entrance and park in Parking Lot A. Staff will be on site to direct students into parking spots with all cars facing the school.
Students will need to apply for and purchase a parking permit to continue parking on campus. The Parking Permit Application is in FinalForms. You will need a picture of your drivers license and proof of insurance to complete the application.

Bus Riders
Bus transportation is provided by your home school, please contact your home school's transportation department to coordinate transportation.
