What does CTC's chapter of Key Club do?
- Community volunteering such as doing service projects, participating in local food drives, cleaning up parks, helping animal shelters, and going to senior centers.
- Charity fundraising to support global and local causes.
- Improving school spirit by hosting events, and assisting teachers.
Who can join Key Club?
How can I participate in Key Club?
All Key Club members have the opportunity to partake in cleaning up parks, collecting or organizing clothing, and organizing food drives. Students learn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects, and holding elected leadership positions. There are numerous leadership roles at the club, division, district, and international levels.
What is the benefit of being in Key Club?
The benefits of being in Key Club are significant. Key Club complements or supplements programs at schools, allowing for students to learn outside of the classroom. Members learn about service leadership during their time in Key Club. Those who participate become more effective and confident members of their communities, and develop strong leadership skills with each opportunity they step up and take part in.
