What is FFA?

Beginning as far back as 1928, Future Farmers of America (FFA) has made a lasting impact for agricultural education. FFA is a youth organization dedicated to changing lives and preparing members for premier leadership. They strive to teach members personal growth and career success through agricultural education.

FFA is for a wide variety of students who want to engage in agriculture and aspire to be farmers, teachers, doctors, scientists, business owners and more. FFA continues to help their members develop their own unique talents and explore their interests in an expansive range of agricultural career pathways. There are over 1,000,000 FFA members in 9,407 chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
