Welding & Fabrication

A Welding and Fabrication student prepares to practice skills in the program lab.

Did you know that more than half of all the products made in America require the skill of a welder during the manufacturing process? This is a fast growing occupation with many job opportunities. You will learn the techniques and skills necessary to fabricate and weld metals. Join the high-tech world of manufacturing.

A Welding and Fabrication student practices welding in the program lab.

Students develop skills through many hands-on applications that are taught in the Welding lab. Students visit local welding shops through job-shadowing opportunities in their junior year. During their senior year, students who demonstrate advanced skills have opportunities to get a job through the Early Job Placement Program or through the registered apprenticeship program.
