Automotive Technology & Motorcycle Maintenance
Hands-on from day one. Students in Auto Tech & Motorcycle Maintenance learn how to safely use industry tools and equipment while building real-world repair and fabrication skills.

The Auto Technology & Motorcycle Maintenance program at CTC is an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Education Foundation Certified program. The program teaches:
- Five automotive concentrations
- Three motorcycle concentrations
- Three life skills concentrations.
Junior students focus on personal and professional development, safety, auto maintenance, auto braking systems, auto steering and suspensions, motorcycle maintenance, and motorcycle chassis/suspension and brakes.
Returning seniors focus on auto electrical and electronic systems, engine performance, motorcycle electrical systems, and OSHA 10 certification as well as opportunities for work placement providing they meet the requirements during their junior year.
The auto service and repair industry has become extremely advanced and the majority of training has moved online. Students will use online training modules and in-class trainers that are used by the major auto manufacturers such as Ford, GM, Toyota, and Honda.

College Credits
Students may earn college credits at Lincoln Tech and University of Northwestern Ohio for successfully completing the Auto Technology and Motorcycle Maintenance Program.
Students may be eligible to earn college credit for courses at Sinclair Community College:

- MET1131
College Scholarships
$3,000 scholarships are available from Clark State College and Sinclair Community College to qualified students.
