National Waffle Day! In emergency management, the ๐ช๐ฎ๐ณ๐ณ๐น๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐๐๐ฒ ๐๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ is used as a real-time measure of how severe a disaster is. Computer science borrowed that same idea to explain system issues and the level of functionality.
Here, Waffle Day takes on a new twist: itโs also a chance to practice ratios, measuring, converting measurements, and teamwork โ with some delicious results. ๐ช๐ต๐ผ ๐ธ๐ป๐ฒ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ณ๐ณ๐น๐ฒ๐ ๐ฐ๐ผ๐๐น๐ฑ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต ๐๐ผ ๐บ๐๐ฐ๐ต?

Cybersecurity program students build technical skills and teamwork experience through competitions such as Cyberpatriot, National Cyber League, Embedded Capture the Flag by Mitre, and National Cyber Cup.ย

College Scholarships
$3,000 scholarships are available from Clark State College and Sinclair Community College to qualified students.
Additionally, students in the Cybersecurity program qualify to apply for the Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship for up to $40,000.
