Early Childhood Education

Early Childhood Education and Care students play with a student on the playground and the Early Childhood Center.

Learn the skills needed to become a trained child care professional. You must have the skills employers need; and as the number of working parents continues to grow in society, the need for quality child care continues to expand.

An Early Childhood Education and Care student plays with a young student in the Early Childhood Center.

Students develop skills and work habits by working in a state-of-the-art childcare facility – the Early Childhood Education Center. Students have opportunities to work with children aged six weeks through five years at the center. This is an excellent program to prepare for early childhood education and social work.
