Carpentry

Carpentry students work on the Project House during their Senior Year at the Springfield-Clark CTC.

Students in the Carpentry program learn the basic skills of the construction trades. Students work at real construction sites daily with skilled instructors supervising.

A Carpentry student operates a lift in the program lab.

Students develop essential skills and work habits by getting work-based experience at various job sites. A desire to learn and work hard is necessary for success. The curriculum is sponsored by the Ohio Carpenters Union. As a first year Carpentry student you will learn the basic fundamentals to being a carpenter building multiple projects small and large. Your Senior year Carpentry students will build an entire home. This work-based experience is invaluable to the success of our students in helping them obtain a job immediately after graduation!
