Mark your calendar! Class Meetings and Parent Teacher Conferences are February 2 from 4-7 p.m. 

We are excited to host SCCTC’s second Parent-Student Engagement Night of the school year on Thursday, February 2nd from 4-7 pm.

We will have Open Conferences/Open House during this time where parents/students can meet with teachers.  We are also hosting two very important Engagement Events that will help sophomores and juniors plan for next year and seniors to plan for graduation and Convocation!

Most students still owe fees.  If you owe fees, please download the PaySchools Mobile app or visit payschoolscentral.com to register.  

 

SOPHOMORE & JUNIOR MEETINGS (CLASS OF 2024 & 2025): 5:00 & 6:00 pm in the cafeteria

This meeting will have the following information:

  1. Scheduling – Returning students have selected classes for next year – their senior year already!  Parents will receive information on student schedules and class options.

  2. Paying Accounts & Fees:  If you still owe fees or have questions.

  3. Work-Based Learning and Business Partnerships:  We will show you our list of business partners that make it easier for students to get jobs after high school or experience work-based learning opportunities while in high school.

  4. College Credit Plus (CCP): Get information about free college while in high school.

  5. Parent Survey:  Please give us feedback to plan for a great student experience this year and in the future.

 

SENIOR MEETINGS (CLASS OF 2023): 4:30 pm & 5:30 pm in the cafeteria

This meeting will have the following information:

  1. Senior Signing Day – Seniors will receive information about Senior Signing Day, which is happening May 5th during school hours.  Seniors will be recognized for their future intentions and planning whether they are employed at a job, enlisted in the military, or enrolled in college (or a combination!).

  2. Convocation and Graduation:  Congratulations 2023!  Yes, it is that time! Please join us to hear about what seniors need for these events.  Convocation for SCCTC is Wednesday, May 17th from 6:30-8 pm at Cedarville University.

  3. Paying Accounts & Fees:  If you still owe fees or have questions.

**5:30 PM CCP MEETING (JUNIORS) – LRC (on the lower level below the Cafeteria)

This is an important meeting for all Juniors planning to take CCP courses senior year. All of the state-required paperwork will be issued and explained in this session.  The state requires parents and students to attend CCP meetings for accurate communication of CCP requirements.
