Free meals for ALL students has expired.
Alicia Rittenhouse

The universal free school meal program that has been available to ALL students for the past two years expired June 30.

For the past two years, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has offered waivers to Child Nutrition Programs (school meal programs) across the United States, allowing these programs to offer ALL students breakfast and lunch, at no charge. This program expired on June 30, 2022.

This school year, 2022-2023, the school meal programs across the nation will return to normal, pre-pandemic operations.  Families need to complete a current school year Free/Reduced Meal Application if they would like to see if their students qualify based on the income of all family members.

Ways to fund your student's meal account

1. Complete the Free/Reduced Meal Application via PaySchools (our food service meal account management system)

2. Add funds using PaySchools (our food service meal account management system)

The CTC Food Services Department is committed to assisting families and making this transition back to normal operations as easy as possible.  Please feel free to contact our offices at 937.325.7368, ext. 124.
