CTC celebrates the retirement and legacy of five veteran instructors.
CTC is proud to celebrate our 394 4th Quarter Honor Roll students! These high achievers finished the year strong, showing impressive resilience and dedication. From academics to hands-on labs and extracurriculars, they balanced it all—and made it look easy!
Six CTC students competed at the 2025 BPA National Leadership Conference in Orlando, showcasing their skills in business, technology, and leadership events. Highlights included a 5th-place national finish, Torch Award honors, and a silver medal in Microsoft certification. The experience offered real-world challenges, industry networking, and career preparation—showcasing what it means to be Career Ready, College Ready, and Life Ready on a national stage.

CTC welcomes David DeHart to its Board of Education, representing Clark-Shawnee Local School District. DeHart brings two decades of education leadership to the CTC Board of Education. Since joining the Clark-Shawnee Local School Board in May 2005, he has served in various capacities, including multiple terms as Board President. He played a key role in the district’s recent growth, serving on the New Facilities Committee during the high school’s renovation and construction of the new elementary school.
Springfield-Clark Career Technology Center (CTC) is excited to announce the Top 2 Students of the Class of 2025 - Morgan Furnas and Griffin Sweeney! These outstanding seniors were selected based on their grade point average (GPA). During their time at CTC they have demonstrated academic excellence and dedication to their career field.

Computer Graphic Arts students worked with cartoonist Jerzy Drozd over the course of the semester to develop their own character and comic book. This experience helped them develop skills in visual storytelling, design, writing, and communication.

Dylan Frederick, a senior in the Digital Media Design program, was known for his creativity and passion for photography. Dylan was an old soul—quiet and unassuming, but full of depth. He had a gift for delivering perfectly timed one-liners and a wicked sense of humor that could catch you off guard in the best way. He will be missed greatly.
