Remembering Abbey Campbell, Class of 2026 💙🖤
The Springfield-Clark Career Technology Center (CTC) is grieving the loss of Abigail “Abbey” Campbell, a senior from Greenon High School and a student in the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program. Abbey passed away on Tuesday, September 10 following a car accident.

During her time at CTC, Abbey thrived in her Health Occupations and EMT classes, where she especially enjoyed hands-on learning. She was looking forward to participating in clinicals this year and was truly excited for the experience to learn more so she could become an EMT, with the ultimate goal of becoming a trauma nurse.

During her junior year, Abbey competed against 40 other students for a leadership position in SkillsUSA, a professional development organization for high school students. She was elected by her peers to represent them as an officer in the state’s Central Region. She enjoyed the leadership role and ran for state officer later in the year. Although she was not voted in as a state officer, she celebrated her fellow classmates who were. She then turned her passion and energy into serving as Vice President of CTC’s SkillsUSA chapter.

Abbey will be remembered for her kindness, positivity, bubbly personality, and smile that lit up every room. She was always willing to jump in and help or give a classmate a hand. She will be dearly missed, but not forgotten, by the CTC and Greenon school communities .

For those that wish to honor Abbey’s memory and support her family and friends, the arrangements are available online at LittletonAndRue.com.

Grief counseling and emotional support services remain available to students and staff through the school’s counseling department and TECIP response team.
