These students were selected as winners in the 2024 Red Ribbon Week Individual Contest hosted by Clark County Partners in Prevention and sponsored by the Clark County Prosecutor's Office. Each student will receive a $100 gift card for their efforts. Carey McKee, from Clark County Partners in Prevention, presented the students with their awards and a $100 gift card.

About the Contest

Red Ribbon Week is celebrated annually in October to highlight the importance of living a drug-free life. The Red Ribbon Week Contest challenged students to create visual items, such as a video, picture, painting, or collage, that promoted a drug-free message. Participants were required to use one of the following slogans:

  • No Thank You (encouraging saying no to drug use)
  • Be Kind to Your Mind (linking mental health, the brain, and the effects of substance use)

Submissions were evaluated on accuracy of information, creativity, slogan use, and overall appearance.

Congratulations!

Savanna, Dalton, and Colton’s work will be featured on the Clark County Partners in Prevention website and social media pages, sharing their creativity with the community and inspiring others to live a drug-free lifestyle. Join us in congratulating these students on their impressive achievements! 👏
