CTC Welcomes New Staff, New Programs, More Students

Springfield-Clark Career Technology Center (CTC) is starting the 2026-27 school year with more students, new staff, and new satellite programs and locations.

Enrollment at CTC’s main campus continues to grow. This year marks the largest incoming group of new students, a 14.8% increase over last year. The five most highly sought-after programs this year were Electrical Trades, Veterinary Science, Cosmetology, Health Occupations, and Welding & Fabrication. Interest in career-tech education remains strong and is projected to continue to increase.

As CTC’s student numbers grow, so does the team of educators and staff helping students become Career Ready. College Ready. Life Ready.

New Faces at CTC’s Main Campus

At CTC’s main campus, we welcome new faces in career-tech lab programs as well as academic classrooms. Help us welcome:

New Satellite Programs

CTC continues to expand career-tech opportunities beyond Main Campus through Satellite Programs in school districts throughout Clark County. These programs give students opportunities to explore careers, build real-world skills, and experience career-tech education at a younger age—all without leaving their home school.

This year, CTC expanded its satellite offerings through new programs in partnership with Northeastern Local School District, as well as a one-of-a-kind program for eighth-grade students co-developed with the Clark County Educational Service Center with support from numerous community organizations.

From welcoming more students on Main Campus to expanding career exploration opportunities within local schools, CTC continues to work toward making career-tech education accessible to more students with a goal of helping every student be Career Ready. College Ready. Life Ready.
