CTC Thanks Voters and Volunteers for Support and Plans to Regroup
We greatly appreciate the nearly 50% of voters who voted in favor of the CTC levy for a new facility. We extend heartfelt gratitude to the many volunteers who dedicated their time and talents to supporting the levy and advocating for it.

“We were very hopeful the levy would pass and we are grateful for the nearly 50% of voters who showed up at the polls today. There was a significant increase in signage visibility and positive conversation and engagement across the county leading up to the election”, said CTC’s Superintendent Michelle Patrick. “The students of Clark County deserve a safe and accessible learning environment that ensures students are career ready, college ready, and life ready. We still believe a new facility pivotal for the school's future and the future of workforce development for our community.

“On behalf of the Board of Education, I would like to thank the many supporters that came together from across the county to form the Committee for Career Development. Committee volunteers came from all school districts, some were CTC/JVS alumni, but not everyone. The common thread being that each of us know how critical CTC is to workforce development in our community. The board is grateful for the time, energy, and passion of the volunteers. They worked tirelessly behind the scenes placing signs, attending events, securing financial donations, and speaking to everyone. The board will discuss options for moving forward at our next meeting.”
