2025 Summer Camp at CTC: Exploration and Adventure Await

Springfield-Clark Career Technology Center (CTC) is excited to announce the 3rd Annual Summer Camp, taking place the week of June 2, 2025! This action-packed camp is designed for students in grades 5 through 8, offering a fantastic opportunity to explore a variety of career fields in a fun, hands-on environment.

Session for Every Interest

Summer Camp 2025 offers 20 different sessions - our largest lineup yet! Each session is designed to inspire curiosity, build skills, and give campers a hands-on look at potential career paths. “Whether your camper is passionate about the arts, technology, medicine, or hands-on trades, there’s something for everyone!” shares CTC Superintendent Michelle Patrick.

Arts and Creativity

What’s New This Year?

Beyond the expanded lineup of sessions, Summer Camp offers grade-specific sessions for 5th and 6th graders or 7th and 8th graders so that the older grades can dive a little deeper into the material. Also new is the availability of before- and after-care options for busy families. 

This year, CTC is proud to partner with Clark State College, enabling us to expand to 20 sessions and welcome more campers than ever before. “Clark State College has been an incredible partner,” shared Dr. Pam Noeth, Senior Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Innovation. “Their resources and expertise have allowed us to grow and stay ahead of career trends, making this camp an unforgettable experience for students.”

CTC’s Summer Camp is more than just fun—it’s an investment in your child’s future. By blending hands-on learning with career exploration, the camp helps students take their first steps toward becoming Career Ready, College Ready, and Life Ready.

“Our goal with Summer Camp is to expose young students to the wide variety of careers available,” said Superintendent Patrick. “We want to spark their curiosity and help them discover their passions. By the time they enter high school, they’ll have a better understanding of the career paths out there, types of courses to take to be on track, and the confidence to pursue them. And of course, we hope to see them back at CTC as high school juniors that are ready to take their passion to the next level!”
