Construction Manager Selected for New Facility

The behind-the-scenes work laying the foundation for the new facility before groundbreaking can even happen continues with the selection of the Construction Manager - Summit Construction!

Summit Construction is an Ohio-based construction management firm that is well-versed in educational projects. A few of their projects include the Construction Trades Lab Addition at Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center, The Timken Center for Precision Manufacturing at The University of Akron, the Medina County Career Center renovation.

As the Construction Manager, Summit Construction will play a critical role in keeping the project on track and on budget. They’ll oversee the hiring and work of all the specialized contractors - electricians, plumbers, etc - including the creation of bid packages (scope of work and specifications) and the quality of the end product.
