From CTC to College: Students Receive Nearly $45k in Scholarships for Next Steps

We're celebrating 23 incredible CTC students who were awarded scholarships through The Springfield Foundation—totaling $44,900! 💰👏

These scholarships are helping our students take the next step—whether that’s a career, college, or beyond. It’s proof that our students are: Career Ready. College Ready. Life Ready.

CTC Celebrates SkillsUSA Success with Top 10 Placements, New Officers, a National Qualifier, and Achievement Award!

CTC students showcased their skills and leadership at the SkillsUSA State Championships, competing in 18 events and earning top placements—including one national qualifier! 🎉 In addition six students ran for state offices and four students volunteered to help with the Culinary Arts competition. We’re incredibly proud of their hard work and achievements. Congrats to all our competitors and volunteers! 👏

Six students, alongside CTC Superintendent Michelle Patrick, proudly accepted the county-wide proclamation during the commission meeting on January 29. The students shared how their career-tech programs have shaped their skills and prepared them for future success in industries ranging from healthcare and cosmetology to education and agriculture.
