What is Opportunity Fair?
SCCTC proudly presents our annual Opportunity Fair—an engaging event for students, families, and the community. Our goal is to offer a diverse range of opportunities to students and their families, enabling them to make well-informed decisions about their future paths.
The Opportunity Fair event aims to help students increase their awareness of the myriad possibilities available now and after graduation. Beyond the chance to meet with current teachers, you'll be able to meet with representatives from program-related businesses, industries, colleges, technical schools, the military, and more!
Attending = Career Exploration Credit for Students
Each year students are required to earn 2 Career Exploration credits for engaging in valuable experiences like job shadowing and college visits. To help students achieve this, we designate two Career Exploration Days during the school year, allowing students to earn these credits.
Students who attend Opportunity Fair and complete a passport will earn 1 Career Exploration credit.
