2024-25 School Year Information

We are excited to see at you at Springfield-Clark CTC! As we plan for the new school year, we want to share some important information with you. Please take a few moments to navigate through the information on this page.

New vs Returning Students

For the purposes of Back 2 School, NEW and RETURNING NEW STUDENTS are defined as:

NEW Students: Incoming juniors, seniors who are new to a program, and JAG Academy students.

RETURNING Students: Students who have already completed 1 year of their program.

Student Forms & Accounts

CTC uses FinalForms to manage the collection of all student and staff information such as Parent/Guardian information, contact information, emergency contacts, and other important information.

NEW Students

The process will take 1-3 business days. Step one must be completed by July 31.

Setup your account at SCCTC.org/FinalForms.
Complete the enrollment forms. These will be ready 24-72 hours after your account is setup. Forms must be completed by Friday, August 23 or students will not be able to participate in lab.

RETURNING Students

Forms must be completed by Friday, August 23 or you will not be able to participate in your lab.

Login to your FinalForms account at SCCTC.org/FinalForms
Complete the forms for the 2024-25 school year.

If you do not have access to the internet at home, there will be computer stations available at Student/Parent Orientation Night.

Student Fees AND School Meals in PaySchools Central

SCCTC.org/PaySchools

CTC uses PaySchools Central for:

School fees. Students who qualify for free lunch may also qualify for fee assistance.
Student breakfast and lunch accounts.
Student breakfast and lunch assistance. Free/reduced lunch and fee assistance must be applied for every year using the PaySchools Central website. Once in PaySchools Central, go to the Parents section and then Free/Reduced Lunch Application.

NEW Students: Will be able to setup a PaySchools Central account for CTC after August 1.

RETURNING Students: Your 2024-25 school fees will be added to your account after August 1.

To setup your ProgressBook you will need a Registration Key. Your Registration Key will be sent to you via ParentSquare by the second week of school.

Important Dates

Student/Parent Orientation Night Details

August 15, 2024: 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm

JAG Academy and students entering a new program, along with their parents, need to attend. Students will meet their instructors in their labs and pick up their schedules. This is the time for you to become familiar with your schedule, your teachers, and the locations of your classes. Bring your best smile, as your ID pictures will be taken this evening.

The CTC Food Truck along with other local food trucks will be available during Orientation!

Returning CTC students do not need to attend Student/Parent Orientation unless they are switching to a new program OR were a Jaguar Academy student last year and are starting a career-tech program.

First Day of School for Students

First Day of School for all students entering a new program: Tuesday, August 20
*Plan to attend the full day on the first day, even if you'll only be attending CTC for half days. The first day will include several important information sessions. And be sure to let your home school attendance office know!

All students attend: Wednesday, August 21

School hours: 7:50 a.m. to 2:16 p.m.

First bell (Doors Open): 7:42 a.m.

1st period begins: 7:50 a.m.

Transportation

Bus Riders
Bus transportation is provided by your home school, please contact your home school's transportation department to coordinate transportation.

Student Drivers
Students that will be driving must have a completed Parking Permit form in their FinalForms account. Once the permit is approved a fee will be assessed and the student will receive an email with instructions on how to pick up their parking permit.

Bell Schedule & School Hours

Schedules

NEW Students (incoming juniors, seniors who have switched programs, and JAG Academy students) will pick up their schedules at Orientation on Thursday, August 15. If students are unable to attend Orientation, their schedule will be available in their lab program first thing in the morning on Tuesday, August 20.

RETURNING Students will pick up their schedule from their lab program first thing in the morning on Wednesday, August 21.

Uniforms, Tools, & Supplies

Uniforms

The Springfield-Clark CTC is a uniformed school. Uniforms are expected to worn on the FIRST DAY and every day. We have partnered with The MacRay Company, here in Springfield, as our uniform supplier. Uniform order deadline is July 5.

If you have not ordered uniforms, please do so immediately at The MacRay Company.
