Career Camps for Kids

Future Ready Career Camps for Grades 5 to 8

This year Career Camp will be a little different! Camp will go Monday through Friday and we are offering campers as many different sessions as we can for the best career exploration experience! Campers will attend two sessions on Monday and Tuesday and then two different sessions on Wednesday and Thursday (morning and afternoon). On Friday, campers will report at 8 am, but parents & family are invited to return at 11:30 am for Camp Showcase! The Showcase will end at 1 pm on the 7th.

Monday to Thursday: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Friday:  8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Camp Showcase at 11:30 a.m.

Camp Schedule

7:45 a.m. -  Drop Off at Main Entrance, report to cafeteria

8-11 a.m.  -  Morning  Sessions

11 a.m.  - 12 Noon - Lunch and team-building activities. Lunch is included for all campers.

12 - 3 p.m.  -  Afternoon Sessions

3 p.m.  -  Pick up at Main Entrance

Cooking 101

Are you ready to become a chef extraordinaire? At Cooking Camp, you'll embark on a delicious adventure where you'll learn all about the magic of cooking. From mixing ingredients to creating tasty dishes, get ready to unleash your inner chef!

Flying Drones: Legally and Safely!

Come join us for a session where technology takes flight, and young minds soar to new heights! This thrilling camp is designed for students in middle school who are eager to explore the exciting world of drones and unmanned aerial systems (UAS). Campers will embark on a journey to become drone enthusiasts, learning about the principles of flight, drone technology, and the jobs drones have in today's world. Certified drone instructors will guide participants through hands-on activities, ensuring a safe and educational experience.

Future Ready Career Challenges (Career Exploration)

Campers get ready! Take a journey of self-discovery, curiosity, and the exciting exploration of various professions! This camp is designed to ignite the spark of curiosity within young minds as they delve into the vast world of careers and discover the possibilities that lie ahead. This Career Exploration session will offer you a chance to find your future interests and to work with Career Kits that you can take home! Campers will get a chance to explore their future careers and to have some fun completing team challenges and career kits across all career fields.

Junior Achievement: Entrepreneurship Camp

Welcome to the world where creativity meets business! Get ready for a week full of inspiration, hands-on learning, and the chance to turn your big ideas into reality. Throughout this exciting session, young entrepreneurs will dive into the world of business with engaging activities and real-world challenges. From brainstorming unique business concepts to developing a business plan, our campers will gain a firsthand understanding of what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur.

Mock Trial

Step into the thrilling world of the courtroom to experience the excitement of legal drama, critical thinking, and the art of persuasive argumentation! This immersive camp is perfect for young minds eager to explore the fascinating realm of law and the justice system. Engage in a hands-on experiences designed to introduce you to the courtroom trial. Guided by experienced legal professionals and educators, campers will learn the fundamentals of the legal process, courtroom procedures, and the roles of attorneys, witnesses, and jurors.

From understanding the essentials of HTML and CSS to exploring user-friendly design principles, campers will gain practical skills that empower you to program computers and design your own web pages.
