Electrical Trades

An Electrical Trades student works on his craft in the program lab.

Electricity is America’s main source of energy and everyone is affected by it. In Electrical Trades, students are trained to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and residential electrical systems.

An Electrical Trades student works in the program lab at the Springfield-Clark CTC.

Students develop skills by working in a lab setting and then progress to on-site projects. There are job shadowing opportunities, mentoring, and apprenticeship programs available.
