Breakfast and Lunch Served Daily

Springfield-Clark CTC offers nutritious meals with all five food groups daily at a reasonable price.

Additional items from the daily menu, as well as other food and beverages that comply with USDA Smart Snacks guidelines may be purchased separately to compliment schools meals or meals brought from home. These are called A La Carte or Extra Sales and require available funds at time of purchase.

What constitutes a meal?

What constitutes a meal?

Breakfast must contain a serving of fruit and/or vegetables and 2 servings of grain, meat/meat alternative and/or a serving of fluid milk.

Lunch includes 1 entree, up to 2 fruit sides, up to 2 vegetable sides, and 1 milk choice. To be considered a full meal, lunch must include a fruit, vegetable, or juice.

Students may decline food groups as long as there is at least 1/2 cup of fruit or vegetable plus 2 other food groups on the tray. For the same price, students may select 3, 4, or all 5 food groups for a complete meal!

Springfield-Clark CTC uses PaySchools Central to manage student meal accounts. This also allows lines to move faster and gives students more time to enjoy meal times.

Adding Funds

Adding funds to PaySchools Central meal accounts is easy.

Add funds using a VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or debit card by visiting PaySchoolsCentral.com or using the PaySchools Central app
Add funds using cash. Cash can be given to a cashier in the morning to load student accounts
Add funds using a check. Checks can be made out to SCCTC and need to include the student's ID number in the memo line.

Meal Account Refunds

If your child is a senior who is graduating or a student who has withdrawn from the district, your child might have a balance in his/her school food service meal account. You may choose to have this money refunded to you, transferred to another child’s (sibling) account, or be donated to the district’s general food service meal account to be distributed equally among all foodservice accounts for students having a negative balance.

Setting up a PaySchools Central Account

Free/Reduced School Meals

Families must complete a Free/Reduced Meal Application every year. The application is online and easy to complete. Login to your student's PaySchools Central account to access the application. For PaySchools Central account setup information visit CTC's School Systems & Apps page.

The Free/Reduced Meal Application for the 2024-2025 school year will be available in mid-July.

*If the application link in PaySchools Central is greyed out and unavailable that means the student is already approved for free/reduced school meals.

If you are unable to access the online application, a paper application is available in the cafeteria and the Main Office or you can download and print the application.
