Students develop skills through hands-on practice as well as textbook instruction that is required by the National Skills Standards. At the end of their senior year, students will take the Ohio State Board of Cosmetology Exam to receive their license. Potential students must have the discipline needed to have excellent school attendance in order to meet the 1500 hour requirement to take the State Board Exam.
