Career Awareness at CTC

Helping students explore what’s possible—early and often.

Career awareness starts long before high school. Our Career Awareness programs are designed to help students in grades K–8 discover their interests, build confidence, and begin exploring future pathways in a fun, age-appropriate way.

Through hands-on activities, family-focused experiences, and strong community partnerships, CTC helps students connect what they enjoy learning today with the careers of tomorrow.

Why Career Awareness Matters

Students don’t need to have a career figured out—they just need opportunities to explore.

Early career awareness helps students:

  • Discover interests and strengths
  • Build curiosity and confidence
  • Understand the connection between learning and real-world careers
  • Begin imagining future possibilities, including college, careers, and beyond

By starting these conversations early, families and students can make more informed decisions later.
