Notice of Special Board Meeting
The Springfield-Clark CTC Board of Education is holding a special public board meeting on Monday, July 8, 2024, at 5:00 PM in the Springfield-Clark CTC Board Office. This special meeting is for the purpose of the Board of Education to take official public action on Financial items, including June financials, account transfers, adopting appropriations, approving an agreement for forecasting consulting services and site visits, establishing petty cash funds; Administrative items, including an amendment to an agreement to provide food services to Global Impact, an agreement for roof repair, an agreement to establish and continue dual enrollment courses with Embry-Riddle, the donation and sale of outdated and surplus textbooks, and a policy update for personal communication devices; Personnel items, including the payment of overtime, and staff hiring, and an Executive Session for the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion or compensation of a public employee or official, or the investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual.

Notice of Special Board Meeting
The Springfield-Clark CTC Board of Education is holding a special public board meeting Monday, June 24, 2024, at 5:00 PM in the Springfield-Clark CTC Board Office. This special meeting is for the purpose of the Board of Education to hear a presentation on levy do's and dont's, a presentation from the Superintendent; to take official public action on administrative items including a donation; the FY2025 Clark County ESC service agreement; reimbursement rate for per diem meals; a proposal for roofing materials and services; the Resolution Determining to Proceed as the second and final board authorization to move forward with a $59 million voted bond issue for 37 years and an accompanying 0.46-mil voted tax levy for general permanent improvements to be levied for a continuing period of time, all to be considered by the electors of the school district at the election on November 5, 2024; personnel items including the hiring of staff; the hiring of student workers; resignation of staff; director calendar work days; and supervisor salary chart; and an executive session for the purpose of considering the appointment, employment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion or compensation of a public employee or official, or the investigation of charges or complaints against a public employee, official, licensee, or regulated individual.

Notice of Meeting Times Changes
The Springfield-Clark CTC Board of Education is moving the time of the Monday, April 8, 2024, regular meeting from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. and the Records/Finance Committee meeting from 4:30 p.m. to 7:45 a.m. due to the projected significant influx of eclipse-related travel during the previous meeting times. Both meetings will still be held in the Springfield-Clark CTC Board Office.

BOND COUNSEL SERVICES
SPRINGFIELD-CLARK CAREER TECHNOLOGY CENTER
The Governing Board of the Springfield-Clark Career Technology Center (Clark County) is seeking to engage bond counsel services related to the renovation and/or new construction of their Career Technology Center. The Governing Board will be participating in the OFCC VFAP program. The scope of services will include assistance with analysis, determination of need, and preparation of the necessary proceedings (including preparing authorizing documents, disclosure documents) to sell and issue bonds or notes in anticipation thereof, including any securities authorized under Ohio Revised Code Chapter 133, to render opinion(s) on the validity of bond offering(s), and assist with preparation of necessary proceedings related to question(s) of a tax levy in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Section 3311.21 and 5705.21. A copy of the RFQ may be obtained by emailing Julie Wallace at juliewallace@scctc.org. Questions regarding the RFQ should be sent to Julie Wallace via email. RFQ responses must be received by the Governing Board in accordance with the instructions in the RFQ no later than 2:00 PM local time on December 30, 2022.

LEGAL NOTICE
The Governing Board of the Springfield Clark Career Technology Center (Clark County) is seeking a professional design firm to provide pre-bond issue assistance services related to the renovation and/or new construction of their Career Technology Center.
The Governing Board will be participating in the OFCC VFAP program. The scope of pre-bond assistance services will include such things as validating studies, POR exercises, feasibility studies, estimates of cost, determining the need/desire for LFI’s, the development of a Master Plan and the creation of graphics to serve as informational/promotional tools. This scope is limited to pre-design and does not imply continuance into full design services for the project should the project become funded. A separate selection process for A/E services will occur only after the Governing Board has obtained its funding.
A copy of the RFQ may be obtained by emailing Steve Shergalis at sshergalis@ebconsultinggroup.com. Questions regarding the RFQ should be sent to Steve Shergalis via email.
RFQ responses must be received by the Governing Board in accordance with the instructions in the RFQ no later than 2:00 PM local time November 3, 2022.
